What started as a backpacking trip
Hey, I’m Brittany!
I’m an American content creator, storyteller, and English teacher who has been living in Germany since 2018. What started as a solo backpacking trip eventually turned into building a life here in northern Germany and sharing that experience online.
From the outside looking in
Through my content, I share the culture, travel, food, hidden places, and everyday moments that made me fall in love with life here. I love documenting the little things that make Germany feel different from the U.S., from regional traditions and countryside life to cozy cafés, local food, road trips, and all the random cultural moments in between.
What that turned into
After more than 12 years working in tourism, hospitality, restaurants, and marketing in the U.S., I combined that background with my passion for storytelling and social media.
Today, I work with tourism boards, hotels, restaurants, brands, and local businesses to create visual, story-driven content for an audience of more than 500,000 people across platforms.
Life now
I live in northern Germany and I’m renovating an old house in the countryside with my husband, our dog Ellie, and a little brood of chickens (and ducks!)
When I’m not working, I’m going on random road trips, trying new cafés and regional food, or convincing myself I definitely need another camera accessory.
