Hey, I’m Brittany!
I spent more than a decade building businesses before I ever built an audience online.
I started my career in hospitality and tourism and went on to work across management, marketing, and business development throughout the U.S.
Moving to Germany changed the direction of my career.
I took that experience into education, teaching Business English and developing curriculum for international business students.
But the biggest career change was one I never planned.
I started sharing my experience of building a life in another country online.
What began as a creative outlet grew into a community of more than 400,000 people across social media, my own business, and partnerships with brands and organizations around the world.
Today, my work brings those worlds together: business, marketing, storytelling, and education.
Outside of work
I’m still an American figuring out life in Germany, although after eight years I probably can’t use “new here” as an excuse anymore.
Home is an old house in the North German countryside with my husband, our dog Ellie, chickens, ducks, and an endless list of things that need fixing. I love traveling, finding places most people overlook, good food, and apparently owning more camera equipment than one person reasonably needs.
