Hey, I’m Brittany!
I’ve had a slightly unconventional career.
Before I ever picked up a camera for a living, I spent more than a decade working in hospitality, tourism, events, marketing, and business development across the U.S.
Then I moved to Germany, changed careers, became an educator, and somewhere in the middle of figuring out a new country, started sharing what I was seeing online.
That eventually grew into a community of more than 400,000 people and opened doors I never expected.
The common thread
I’ve worked in a lot of different rooms: restaurants, classrooms, events, behind the camera, in front of it, and now with brands, businesses, organizations, and creators.
The job titles have changed, but the thing I’m good at really hasn’t: understanding people, finding the story, and figuring out how to communicate it in a way that makes someone care.
That’s what I bring to my work today, whether I’m developing a campaign, teaching a workshop, creating a video, or helping someone figure out their content.
Outside of work
I’m still an American figuring out life in Germany, although after eight years I probably can’t use “new here” as an excuse anymore.
Home is an old house in the North German countryside with my husband, our dog Ellie, chickens, ducks, and an endless list of things that need fixing. I love traveling, finding places most people overlook, good food, and apparently owning more camera equipment than one person reasonably needs.
